The Madera County Excellence in Education Awards program began in 2007 as a partnership between the Madera County Office of Education and EECU. Each year this program proudly recognizes the outstanding achievements and commitments of Madera County teachers, school administrators, and school employees. Each year, awards are presented at a formal evening ceremony funded by EECU. This program celebrates the educators' achievements and successes, and shares their vision with the entire education community. Each winner receives a personalized engraved trophy. All other nominees received a framed art print of the original trophy. This program recognizes Madera County's best-of-the-best, whose passion for education is demonstrated every day inside and outside of the classroom.
